With this text set the students will learn about important icons in American History. They will learn about how these people and how their contributions changed America at the turn of the century. They will also learn about the different contributions these men left for us. They will relate this back to present day, and compare how our life would have been different without these men and their inventions. While learning about these important men in history the students will also gain literacy skills that will help them understand the content.
